Limited Abdominal

Preparation Necessary

  • Nothing by mouth after midnight or fasting 6 to 8 hours
  • Morning medications are permitted.
  • For afternoon appointments, a clear liquid breakfast is permitted.

Diabetic patients should be scheduled first.

Procedure

  • Real time imaging of one organ only. Liver, spleen, gallbladder, pancreas, or common bile duct.
  • Images documented in sagital, transverse and oblique planes in digital format.

Examination Time:  Approximately 30 minutes.

Mobile Ultrasound Services provides ultrasound, Xray and MRI diagnostic studies to correctional facilities, Assisted Living Facilities, Independent Living Facilities, and group medical practices. The majority of our studies are conducted on the day the physician orders them. Our board certified radiologists and cardiologists generally produce reports within 24 hours.
